They are prepaid digital credits used inside the platform. Think of them like airtime or M-Pesa float. You top up your balance, and you use it when you need to. Umojacoin was not built in a boardroom. Our CEO ran operations in Tanzania and encountered Africa’s broken payments infrastructure firsthand. Our CCSO designed and launched M-Pesa agent networks across Kenya. Our MLRO’s Maasai community is scattered across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, and they pay the price of artificial borders every time they transact. Every member of our founding team has operated inside the conditions that Umoja Pay is built to fix.
