Umojacoin is a Pan-African fintech company focused on cross-border payments, remittances, and financial connectivity across Africa. Our first product, UmojaSend, reimagines remittances by putting recipients at the centre of the experience. Instead of sharing account numbers and banking details, recipients can create a payment request and receive support through a simple shareable link.
Coming next is Umoja Pay, our broader payments platform designed to help individuals, families, and businesses send money, receive payments, and transact across borders more easily. Supporting these services are UMC Credits, prepaid digital credits that can be used within supported Umoja services, similar to how airtime works. They are not a cryptocurrency, investment, or tradeable asset.
